SUMMARY:Easter Vigil Worship and Reception
DESCRIPTION:Perhaps the most powerful worship service of the year\, the Easter Vigil begins in the dark and moves through scripture by candlelight as we await the celebration of the resurrection of Christ.  The lights burst on as voices and orchestra remind us of the glory of this day.  With gratitude to Christ we celebrate with song\, scripture\, and fellowship of the Holy Eucharist (The Lord’s Supper).  Following the service\, we gather in the fellowship hall to spend time in celebration with one another enjoying food and drink as redeemed\, grateful people of God.
