Good Faith Network
Faith communities excel at acts of mercy, but those acts provide only temporary relief to those in need. To seek lasting relief, justice is required. A single congregation cannot accomplish such change alone. St. Michael’s is a member of this interfaith organization building people power in nearly 30 congregations across Johnson County to advocate for justice. We draw our inspiration from Micah 6:8 and the story of Nehemiah (Chapter 5).
Our active campaigns include
Mental Health Crisis Care
Ending Homelessness
Lack of Affordable Housing
