De-Weaponizing the Bible: Interpretation, Inclusion, and Infinite Love of God for LGBTQIA+ Persons

Many have experienced the pain of a weaponized Bible used to tell them they are unwelcome, unloved, inferior, or “intrinsically disordered” for being LGBTQIA+. Dr. Liantonio will discuss how faithful reading and interpretation of the Bible can open a path toward experiencing God’s love, welcome, and affirmation of LGBTQIA+ persons. Dr. Liantonio studies the Psalms. He is Campus Librarian & Equity Compliance Officer at Saint Paul School of Theology.
