Neighborhood Pantry at St. Paul’s

Another response to food insecurity is our partnership with St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kansas City, Kansas to provide a Neighborhood Food Pantry. The Neighborhood Food Pantry serves the hungry by providing Commodities Services (TEFAP) as well as fresh produce and bread to those who are in need. The pantry distributes food on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

How can I help?

Volunteer: Parishioners from St. Michael’s and other churches in the area volunteer as stockers and shopping assistants. Volunteers also collect donated food items from various locations and deliver them to the pantry.

Donate: Anyone can donate food by dropping it off at St. Michael’s (collection site is in the main hallway outside of the fellowship hall). A list of needed items can be gotten from the church office. Financial donations, which help pay for food, can be made by going to our Online Giving page [link] and selecting “Neighborhood Pantry” from the menu. You can also donate by writing a check, with “Neighborhood Pantry” in the memo line, and mailing it to the church.
